Christmas Greetings

It’s that time of the year again,

The time we celebrate with our loved ones,

Christmas!

My favourite time of the year,

Carols to sing, presents to open,

And lot’s of delicious food to eat.

Here in NSW a smoky haze lingers in the air, a reminder that not all is right and that there are many who will not have a happy Christmas this year. Our Fire Fighters are working hard to contain the many, many fires that are burning and spreading throughout NSW, and will no doubt be working through out Christmas.

It’s been a while since I have posted and this is due mainly to keep an eye on the fire situation and I also haven’t been well.

Still I wanted to do this post to wish you all a very

Merry Christmas.

I haven’t done much Photography or post processing of my images lately so these two are from my latest efforts.

Dahlia  “Titoki Point”

My Dahlia is still sending up flower stems with the most gorgeous coloured flowers. It has been growing in a pot for about a year now.

Heuchera – Forever Purple,  “Everything That Glitters”

A new acquisition with the most delicious purple coloured leaves, just right for the potted garden as it glows and contrasts brilliantly with the many reds and bronzes of other foliage plants. Oh! Did I mention, I re – arranged the pots again with all the foliage plants in the front of the glass doors so I can see the leaves light up and sparkle in the early morning sun.

The patio seems to have shrunk a bit since I last posted any photo’s. Plants have grown and I think I may have purchased a few more.

With stage 3 of water restrictions due to start very soon – we just started stage 2. What this means for us I have yet to discover.

May the holidays bring you

Peace, Love and Happiness!

Merry Christmas!
